Dark Australian flora tablecloth with colorful floral on a beige backgro

Have you ever heard of Billy Buttons, Lilly Pilly, or Macadamia nuts?

Australian Dark Flora is a large-format tablecloth featuring original hand-drawn illustrations of Australia's native botanical world printed on a rich, dark background that makes every colour pop.

This isn't a utility tablecloth. It's a piece of art you eat at.

It was designed by Melbourne-based artist Christina Rosaldoni, whose work explores connection to nature and the ethereal details of everyday life.

FAQS

What size table does this fit?

The tablecloth measures 1.5m wide by 2.5m long. It's designed for a standard 6–8 seat rectangular dining table and will provide a full overhang on most common table sizes.

What is it made from?

It's woven from 100% double slub bamboo at 230gsm. Bamboo fabric is known for being extra soft, resistant and more sustainable to produce than conventional cotton.

How do I wash it?

We recommend a cold, gentle machine wash. Spot-treat any stains with a quick hand wash first for best results. Do not tumble dry on high heat, lay flat or hang to dry to maintain the fabric's shape and print quality.

Will the colours fade?

The print is applied to a heavyweight base fabric designed for durability. With proper cold washing and gentle care, the colours can hold well over time. Avoid harsh detergents or bleach-based stain removers, which can affect any printed textile.

Is this suitable as a gift?

Absolutely. The size, the story behind it, and the art-quality design make it a genuinely memorable gift, particularly for hosts, nature lovers, or anyone who cares about Australian art and sustainability. It's the kind of gift people remember where it came from.
